I had the opportunity to go to Baltimore this week for training on Holmatro rescue equipment. I've been here a few times before for significant reasons, actually, so it's a special place for me.
Holmatro stands for Holland Machine Trading Organization. Originally creating equipment for ship building, they then began making emergency rescue tools.
Got a nice tour of the factory and the lathes that make the "jaws of life" blades and many more that make up the rescue systems.
Tearing apart the PPU15 hydraulic pump. Small, but strong enough to get the blades moving.
Combi blades get some maintenance done.
Cleaning up the piston body of a spreader.
holmatro monsterr?
The view from Battery Park @ Inner Harbor.
Next new thing drift cars are going to do. Bedazzled hoods and aero!
@ the National Aquarium. I want a puffin...
... I want a shark too
Rental car, 2012 Sentra... Meh...
The end to a good day. Red velvet cupcakes with cream cheese and raspberry frosting.
